Photo & Media Release Guidance

This page is informational and will be supported by a separate signed release form before formal events involving photography or video.

Safe Steps Run Club may take photos or videos at future public events for nonprofit storytelling, outreach, social media, website updates, sponsor reports, and community awareness.

Children and Families

Because Safe Steps Run Club serves children and families, extra care should be used when posting images of minors. A parent or guardian should provide permission before a child’s identifiable image is used in promotional materials.

Future Release Forms

Before formal events, Safe Steps Run Club should use a photo/media release form that allows participants, parents, or guardians to approve or decline identifiable media use.

Opt-Out

Participants who do not want to be photographed or recorded should notify Safe Steps Run Club before or during an event when possible.
