Volunteer Waiver Guidance

Safe Steps Run Club appreciates community members who want to support children and families through volunteering, outreach, events, and resource connection.
Volunteer Expectations
- Act respectfully and professionally
- Follow event instructions and safety guidance
- Respect children, families, and community partners
- Maintain appropriate boundaries
- Report safety concerns to leadership
Background Checks and Screening
For roles involving children, families, sensitive information, or direct program support, Safe Steps Run Club may require screening, references, background checks, training, or board approval.
No Guaranteed Role
Submitting interest in volunteering does not guarantee placement. Volunteer roles depend on event needs, safety considerations, and organizational approval.
